Hi,

I have recently adopted a Joomla 1.5 website and I am trying to fix an issue with the Breezing form.

The form is submitting and populating the database but I am not getting the emails through.

I get this error message: Could not instantiate mail function

I have set the correct mail recipient in Joomlas and Breezing forms Global Configeration including the recipient settings for the form itself.

In the Joomla Global Configeration Server settings I have tried changing the Mailer drop down to PHP Mail Function, SendMail and SMTP Server which still doesn't send an email however receive different errors:

PHP Mail Function: Could not instantiate mail function
SendMail: PHPMAILER_EXECUTE/usr/sbin/sendmail
SMTP Server: SMTP Error! Could not connect to SMTP host.

Does anyone have any idea how this might be resolved?

Let me get some information from you
-What Version of Breezing forms with build are you using (EX BreezingForms 1.7.5 Stable (build 749)

already answered but the build number would be great
-Who is your hosting Provider (Before and/or after)
-did you setup a correct php.ini file in the root of joomla?

I am using:
Joomla 1.5.25
Breezingforms 1.7.5

I am not sure about the PHP.ini file as I recently adopted this website.

I will have to get back to you on who hosts the website as I haven't been provided with this information from the client yet.

My boss is a paying subscriber but sadly he is away.
