I purchased a few days ago the conext template. After installation and activation of the Responsive Slide Show modul I get an error message on the frontend above the Slide Show:
Strict Standards: Only variables should be assigned by reference in C:\xampp\htdocs\Test\modules\mod_responsive_slideshow\tmpl\default.php on line 23

In the default.php on line 23 there is the following code:
$doc = &JFactory::getDocument();

Is this a problem of the code or a problem of the error reporting in the php.ini of my xampp installation?

today I get the same problem in a xampp environment (w7/64) after purchasing and upgrading to the greenlogic-template

Hi soma,

I guess the problem is old php code of the slider and a new php version in xampp. The slider works fine, but xampp reports an error if you use the strict error reporting which is normally installed.
When I changed the error reporting in the php.ini the error message has gone.
(xampp -> php -> php.ini: you should use this code: error_reporting = E_ALL & ~E_DEPRECATED)
