TOPIC: xforms export to excel problem

xforms export to excel problem 9 months, 4 weeks ago #78041

I am having a problem exportin an Xforms view from a table that has almost 5,000 records in it. From Chrome:
This webpage is not found
No webpage was found for the web address: www.xxx.com/administrator/index.php?opti...e=xls&format=raw
Error 6 (net::ERR_FILE_NOT_FOUND): The file or directory could not be found.

The view process and displays, when exporting it seems like it process the data, but I it looks like i get a page not found error when the browser tries to save.
Similar page not found errors from IE and FF. I can export with smaller tables through no problem. Is there a size issue or something else possible going on?

Any idea what it could be? Have all the permissions set correctly and the export works for other forms. I don't see how a page not found could be introduced into this. Is there anywhere in the view setup I could have set that differently from another view?

More than happy to send you login info offline, if you wouldn't mind taking a look.

Thank you for the response!

you may need to add more memory to your php.ini file here add these to it:

upload_max_filesize = 100M
post_max_size = 100M
max_execution_time = 2000

also this page gives references to what could be happening

We’re all good...

Instead of editing the php.ini file in the root (joomla system info showed me the memory tweaks didn’t take). Instead, I needed to create one with those settings and drop it in the administrator folder – then the memory settings were adjusted and could export fine.

Thanks again for your help and the quick response!
