TOPIC: Missing DB items???

Missing DB items??? 2 years ago #11729

Upon Install of Component I received success.. I did this from the Upload as well as the directory.

It creates the Admin and Components it also creates the .ini files in both Language locations.

I've deleted all four sections and tried multiple times.. Each time I get a success install but no Components Menu.

Thank you for your quick response.

I'm not seeing the Breezing anywhere.

Actually, I was wrong... It should be appearing in the Components screen at the top, so I'm going to delete my first post. (Sorry - my cold meds are affecting my brain!)

FacileForms was the original name for BreezingForms, and that's how it shows up in the Components list. I'm not sure why it's greyed out in your list and un-installable. Hopefully Markus can provide more info...

Hi Monil,

Okay... I think we've got the answer for you.

It appears that, for some reason, the installer didn't write the dentries into the jos_components table of your database.

To correct that, I'm attaching a zip file that contains an SQL file for you to upload via phpMyAdmin to your database that will add the component links for you.

IMPORTANT: the SQL assumes that you are using the default prefix of jos_ in your database. If you are using something other than that, then you will need to open the SQL file and replace jos_ with whatever prefix you are using.

Hope this helps!

Terry
