After clicking the "New install: Create tables (drops existing tables)" radio button, and then clicking the Continue button. I am redirected to a page (www.mysitehere.com/administrator/index2.php) which says: "Could not write config file, please check the permissions!". Does anyone know which configuration file this is having trouble accessing? Thanks for your time!

That error often arises when your FTP settings are incorrect in your Joomla configuration. Can you try turning FTP off and see if it works then?
