JOOMLAROOT = the full server path to your joomla base directory. however, the joomla team just released a patch wich I am about to test that could solve the whole issue. in the meanwhile you could try to install com_breezingforms_151_NOSHARE.zip that is inside the package. It lacks some new features but you can still do your forms with it as usual.	TheMuffinMan

Hi all,
trying to install on a Linux server Ubuntu 8.04, bur either methods failed.

Installing using zip php extension fails with a message:
something like (english translation)
"Moving operation failded", since i do not know where he package should be moved i cannot se perimsions.

Installing from: HOMEROOT/tmp (HOMEROOT = /var/www/htdocs/web)
fails with this message:
"JInstaller::install: file /var/www/htdocs/web/tmp/exports/index.html does not exists"
indeed the file do exists and all folders have the right permissions also.

OK so, once we download the zip file. We right click and save it to a compressed zip file (new folder) and then what do I do?	Shaye

If you use BF 1.6.0 then it ships with the NOSHARE component. BF 1.6.5 doesn't need that anymore (the package is small enough).	TheMuffinMan

I'm trying to install BF 1.6.5 when the problem occurred. I'm not sure what to do with the NOSHARE component. My first attempts was to do a normal install from the uploader/install. I have tried to install by unzipping the com_breezingforms_165.zip file then uploading in the /public_html/tmp directory. Then using the install from the tmp directory I still only get a partial install with the Error:

-1 - An error has occurred.
It was not possible to copy the selected file.

Both standard and alternate install fail to complete. Please advise.
