I just purchase and installed the latest breezing forms, but I get blank screen at; /component/option,com_facileforms/Itemid,226/

1. I see facile forms in the URL. do I have to install Facile Forms to use breezing forms?
2. is there nay installation and configuration manual?

Hi,

you install BF like any other Joomla! extension. You don't need FacileForms.

However, a blank screen usually means php error. From your url you showed me, may I ask what Joomla! version you are using? BF works only with J! 1.5 and PHP5.

I have PHP 5.2.5 and Joomla 1.5.2 (in Legacy mode)
I watched the video tutorials but is there any installation and configuration manual?

I did not change anthing in the configuration file.
- when do I change "Use live site in configuration.php" to yes or no ?
- I can see the sample forms at the back-end. (see attached screenshot) how can I test sample forms? what is the URL for the sample forms? (see attached)

Hi,

you don't need to set the live_site option if you don't use the live_site option from joomla (which will disappear in J! 1.6 anyway)
So "no" is safe in most cases.

The sample forms are samples for forms created with the classic mode.
The easiest way to show them in the frontend is to create a BreezingForms menu item and add a the desired form name at the right options (just like you do for other menu assignments). But please use the proper form name and not the title.

After saving you can browse your frontend menu and open the form.

The Quick and EasyMode have live preview for the frontend without any menu assignments and such.

I am still seeing blank screen on all forms at /component/option,com_facileforms/Itemid,228/ . My Chrono Forms works fine on the same site. how can I find out or fix the PHP error for BF?
