Very basic, newbie questions - I think... 4 years, 10 months ago #1677

I downloaded Breezingforms for a project I'm working on and so far have been fairly pleased. There's a bit of a learning curve that I'm still working through, of course, which leads me to the following:

1. "Where the heck is the data going?" I created my first form (a donor information form) and tested it and everything works fine. I can go to Record Management and see the submitted forms as expected. However, I went into my Joomla database hoping to see the data there and can't find it to save my life. I thought maybe the data was stored externally, but I can't find any files resembling a datastore. So, can you tell me where to look?

2. I want to be able to link the form to the user's Site Account. I figured I'd do this via a hidden field which would store the user's ID. Being a bit new to Joomla and to Breezingforms, I was happy to find this article: http://www.facileforms.biz/content/view/12/47/. Sadly, this doesn't work, and judging by the fact that this is on the Facileforms page, I would guess that this is referring to Joomla 1x and Facileforms, rather than Joomla 1.5 and the latest Breezingforms.

I know these are pretty basic questions, but they have me stumped. Please believe me when I say I made a serious effort to find the answers on the forums and documentation prior to posting this and wasting everyones' time.

Uhhhmmmm.. Skip this. I figured it out.

Turns out I had my Joomla configuration file wrong and the forms were loaded up in the production site's database. The strangest thing was it worked fine on the dev server.

Anyhow, a quick fix to the config file, an uninstal/reinstall and I'm in business.
