TOPIC: [Solved] Field Sets are not showing up properly

[Solved] Field Sets are not showing up properly 2 years, 2 months ago #12611

I am trying to create my first form, but I am having trouble with it displaying properly. I tried it with two themes, and when I add a field set, there is a break in the graphic. What can I do to fix it?

Hi Mike,

Have you added any additional CSS to the form? What browser are you viewing in?

Thanks,

Terry

I haven't added anything to the form. I just selected the theme. I also tried it with a different theme, and still the same result. I also tried it with a separate Joomla theme as well.

I am using google chrome. However, I just pulled the site up in IE, and it has the same result.

Can you give me the URL to the form so I can take a look? If you don't want to post it publicly, please email it to me at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. .

Just sent!

For anybody else with this problem, here is the support information I got back that fixed the problem.

It looks like you have created a new theme called “reset.css” (or it is somehow in play on your site). Line 59 of reset.css has this code:

form div {
margin:10px 0;
}

It is that margin that is causing the gap between your heading and the form itself. Try setting it back to 0 and see what happens.
