TOPIC: File Upload Error Message

File Upload Error Message 1 year, 11 months ago #12629

Hi!

I'm using  breezingforms on a 2nd website and am getting an error message that I'd love to have your help with.

When I use the File-Upload feature, I get the error:  Invalid file storage path for file headerBg.jpg! Please check the upload folder path and its permissions!

Upload folder path is the default {ff_uploads} and I do have an uploads folder in components / com_facileforms.

I've set permissions to 777 but still the upload fails-- do you have any ideas? thanks so much!

Hi there,

Can you provide a URL? (If you don't want to post it publicly, you can send it to me at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. .)

Thanks,

I'm getting the same error here. Was there a solution for this?
Thanks

Hello!

Just wondering if there was ever a workable solution for this problem.

I am getting the same error whenever I try to use the Flash upload element. My upload directory is writable (777). What's odd is that a non-flash upload element works fine for uploading to that directory... but this problem persists with Flash uploader.

If it helps, I'm using BreezingForms 1.7.3 Stable (build 740) on Joomla 1.5 site.

Thanks
