guess what, I created a test menu item, on the contentbuilder view that you created (type "Create", this will load the form) and it does it right.

In the original menu item, your site redirected to flash uploader and resulting in a 303 http error ("See Other"). This usually happens when something with redirection is broken on the page.

Please verify my test menu item. Maybe it was joomla/menu item related.

Well, strange solution... but it works..... I will use the Menu that you created, an adapt it to the page...... well, I think it was related to that menu item. especially in J! 1.5 there is sometimes weird redirect behavior. for example format=raw is not recognized and format=html is forced to be used instead and this will break ajax requests. well it is not the case here but something about menu items + redirects. I discovered what are causing that error.... Your Menu TEST works fine, but when i give the Permissions to that Menu to REGISTERED it shows the HTTP error again.....	alukard OFFLINE Senior Boarder Posts: 56 Karma: 0

ok, I just cleared browser cookies and cache, then I set the session handler in the joomla config from database to "none" and now it seems to work. I had a smiliar issue once with captchas and joomla, on every ajax request, the session was not available and the captcha was always wrong. setting to "none" solved it. it is by the way not a bad setting, your site will work properly.
