TOPIC: How do I create a Save Progress button?

How do I create a Save Progress button? 2 years ago #11619

I have a seven page form. It takes an awfully long time to fill out completely and clients want to be able to save the progress and come back later to complete it as time permits. How do I make a "Save Progress" without it sending a submission e-mail to everyone?

Hi,

if you added the form using a BF menu item, then go to its details and choose "editable by user" on the right.
Requires the people to be logged in.

Regards,
Markus

I am aware of that, and it works fine. The question is how to prevent it from sending the e-mails every time they submit and save the data. I want it to save the data only without e-mailing everyone. I need a "Save Progress" button that does not send the incomplete form to the destination as if it were complete. Otherwise, the moderators could be overwhelmed by incomplete forms.

I am looking into the code and I will see if I can hardcode it. It does not appear that there is another option.

well you can turn off the email notifications at all in the form settings (advanced => more options in QuickMode).
it is hard to determine when a form is finished and when not (I also thought about this when adding this feature).

so is there no answer to this question? you just have to either get no email or get them all? Is there any way to have a save button for the form and not use the submit button.
