The thing I want seems easy, but in spite of all the things I've tried (I read the wiki and this board multiple times) Breezingforms doesn't want to cooperate. (ok ok, it will be me...)

The mission:
I want the email I get from my website not sent by "name website" but sent by the person who actually fills in the form (and fills in his/her emailadress). Then I can use an autoresponder and have an ease reply-to. Sounds simple (should be a standard option, is my humble opinion, or is it already?), but i can't get it to work.

I'm using quickmode and already tried the "end-submit" described in the Wiki. For some reasing that doesn't work. This might also be because the Edit Form - setting tab - email notification - doesn't take
"NO" for an answer. When I hit "save", the email notification is reset to "To Default adress" (is this a bug?).

Can please anyone help me with this? It's driving me crazy

see the advanced tab of the textfield, mark it as mailback and check "Mailback as sender".

This is an option I also tried out, but then the message is also sent TO the one who filled in the form (hereafter: "the customer"). I don't want to have the customer recieve the email also.

Any suggestion how to fix that?

you can replace the email using javascript right before it submits and copy the customer's mail address into a hidden input.
"right before submit" would be a custom action on the submit button.

ok, the mail notification checkbox works. Did you save your properties before clicking "save" in the upper right?

I'm using the Quickmode (you saw that already). Are you willing to explain to me how to write this piece of javascript (and where to put it etc).

I'm not used writing javascript etc.
