TOPIC: Internet Explorer can not open web page

Internet Explorer can not open web page 2 years, 4 months ago #10891

Hi All

I am new to cross tec so I hope what I have below makes sense.

I have created a form in quick mode. It has 3 fields - name, email and phone number. It is inserted into the left position and appears on every page of my website.

On safari it appears to work fine but in internet explorer my webpage part opens up and then I get the following message

"Internet Explorer can not open internet site - operation aborted."

I click on ok and I then get the "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage"

I then retype the domain name website opens perfectly but only after I reenter the domain name.

When I disable the form my page opens first time perfectly (but without the form).

Is there something I can do to fix this or something I may be doing wrong?

See you

Jamie

Hi

You can find the form at www.digitalgalaxies.com.au/

I am using Explorer 7 (as I said seems to work fine on Safari).

The other weird thing is that it appears fine when I open any of my subpages - for example - www.digitalgalaxies.com.au/index.php?opt...;id=55&Itemid=62

Regards

Jamie

Hi

Markus gave me the tip to turn the "iframe" on. Which I have done and is displaying fine. But now the font is displaying what looks like "times new roman".

Any suggestions for how I can make the font "arial".

sorry if this is basic but I am new to Joomla and crosstec!!

Hope you can help!

Jamie
