Flash Uploading not working and freezing. 1 year, 11 months ago #12728

When using more than one Flash Upload on separate pages there is a problem with files not loading and freezing.

For example if you are using 2 or 3 separate Flash Uploads across different pages and then submit, only the very last Flash Upload File will work and the others will not load at all.

How can this be fixed?? Its crucial that i get it up and running as part of my customer orders.

This is in quick/easy mode.
I have tried on both Safari/Google Chrome and Firefox on Mac.

- I have also now tried it on Windows IE and it works fine but not Windows firefox so it is a firefox/safari/chrome compatibility problem??

Im having the same problem. Two pages form, one file upload en every page, and the form freezes.

I've tried to put all my fields in one single page, but now the upload animation doesnt show!!!!... so if the user is sending 10 images, he must guess that the system its working, because nothing shows that there its something going on on the web page... :/

This is a serious issue from my point of view - as it also can crash the apache server at all.

We have tried several tests here and while having a form with 2+ file uploads it can happen that the upload will not crash the apache but let the apache hang without any reply anymore to http requests.

it seems to happen if the files have nearly the same file lenght - and happens randomly even under low server load. This behave seems not to be happen on the html version of the upload even under heavy server load.

I strongly recommend not using the swf upload feature for now and i would like to have some feedback from the crosstec team here - even if this is a community forum.
