TOPIC: tooltip image not present

tooltip image not present 3 years, 3 months ago #2809

I created a contact form and also use tooltip.

Howerver the images is missing and the note does also not show.

Left down in IE, after i point the mouse to that position, it says:

'Ready
Object expecting and

CAPTION not defined'

How can i fix this.

Hello,

I have the same problem. In preview mode (back-end) the blue icon is visible. In live-mode it is missing. Anyone any ideas?

Kind regards,

is the path in the frontend correct? check the html source and copy it to the browser url to check it. if its wrong I would like to see the differences between both urls.

Hello,

The front-end URL for the image is:
http://localhost/huisartspraktijkjacobs.nl/src/index.php/includes/js/ThemeOffice/tooltip.png

In the back-end, i.e. on the page where I can configure the tooltip, the URL is:
/huisartspraktijkjacobs.nl/src/includes/js/ThemeOffice/tooltip.png

The latter is shown correctly in the browser (IE7).

From looking at the URLs I decided to have a look at my settings in the 'SEO Settings' section of the Global Configuration.

It turns out that I have two options which both solve the problem:

1 switch 'Search engine friendly URLs' off
2 switch 'Search engine friendly URLs' and 'Use Apache mod_rewrite' both on

Thanks for putting me on the right track!
