HI;

This is the first time I've ever tried BreezingForms and so far so good. It appears and works as it should....
BUT
if you are using K2 CCK, there is a URL conflict because they both use the option param in the URL.
i.e:

So what is happening is the Main menu and K2 page styles won't load, when a K2 item (article) containing the breezing form loads.
I am using the BF plugin and inserting the Pattern syntax i.e: {BreezingForms:Contact_Form,1,1,urlparams, ,0,0}.

Do anybody know how to get to work with K2 ?

Because I really like BF and I would purchase a subscription if I could only get it to work with k2.

FOUND A SOLUTION:

Using the Breezing forms plugin, Set the options to Use Iframe.

Of course I had change the DOCTYPE to frameset.dtd and presto it works !!

I had the same issue with another component, and iFrame is one option - not pretty - the other is to play with ordering. If BF is last, I believe the options problem is fixed.	Iko OFFLINE Fresh Boarder Posts: 17 Karma: 0

Hi, can you please let me know what url param this is? Would be great to have it natively working w/o iframes. I also released a n upgrade today to build 758 (and backport 7), so that jquery conflicts with K2 should be solved as well (QuickMode related). I tried what you mentioned but it didn't work.
Menus still disappear. Thanks for the suggestion though.

It certainly has to do with the url params.
The option param fro K2 is:
sitename.com/index.php?option=com_k2&....

And when I try to open the K2 article whre BreezingForms resides the url option params becomes:
sitename.com/index.php?option=com_breezingforms&....

Anyways, I found the best solution is to install the module and use that to assign it to K2 item/article
Now works without having to use the iframe !

Sure. As I mentioned in the last reply. It was the option params. in K2 it goes: index.php?option=com_k2&... and BF goes : index.php?option=com_breezingforms&...
