[SOLVED] Captcha image not showing up 3 years, 7 months ago #9557

Like many, I'm not able to get the CAPTCHA image to show up. The input field and refresh button is there, however, the CAPTCHA image does not display.

No errors on the Firefox or php logs
File permissions for ff_secimage.php are set to 755
No SOE components installed

The <img> tag is created with the following code:

<img src="http://www.rentinmissoula.com/ff_secimage.php?option=com_facileforms&amp;bfCaptcha=true" class="ff_capimg" id="ff_capimgValue"/>

Did not transfer servers recently
Form created in Quick Mode
True Type Font and GD all setup/enabled in php

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Here's a side question...is there something additional to install for the CAPTCHA to work? I can add captcha elements when creating forms but as noted above, the image does not show up. No errors...any help is greatly appreciated.	Nocktis OFFLINE Junior Boarder Posts: 25 Karma: 0

Hi, if I call the captcha url directly, I'll get a blank screen, which usually means php error. There should be something written to the php_error.log, if there is nothing, then the error logging may not be set up properly. What you can try is to enable disaply php errors in your php.ini (and set to E_ALL) such that I can see the error directly in the browser.	TheMuffinMan OFFLINE Moderator Posts: 4599 Karma: 37
