Hi,

die Komponente FacileForms habe ich schon auf einigen Seiten erfolgreich eingesetzt, es sind teilweise komplette Datenbank-Applikationen damit entstanden. Die Nicht-Portierung auf Joomla 1.5 hieß, dass alle älteren Seiten nicht auf die neue Joomla-Version upgedatet werden konnten. Umso fantastischer war die Meldung, dass BreezingForms nun die Nchfolge antritt. Herzlichen Dank dafür.

Einen Nachteil hat FacileForms bei Einsatz des Feldes "Abfrageliste". Bei großer Anzahl von Datensätzen wird auch ein entsprechend großes JavaScript-Array erzeugt, das schon einige Zeit zum Laden benötigen kann. In dem Array kann dann mittels JavaScripr-Routinen komfortabel schnell geblättert werden.

Einen eleganteren Weg bei großen Datenbanken zeigt das Tool "DrasticGrid" aus den "DrasticTools" (www.drasticdata.nl), das nur seitenweise die benötigten Daten lädt und doch mit AJAX erfreulich schnell arbeitet. Diese Funktionalität wäre für BreezingForms hervorragend, da man bei großen Datenmengen hier schnell an Grenzen stößt.

Noch einmal vielen Dank für die Weiterentwicklung dieser hervorragenden Komponente.
