Can I replace or enhance Joomla's registration form? I need more fields than it offers.

Yes, you can do that with BreezingForms.

The "Pay to Register" sample contains a ready-to-run predefined form together with registration.

If you don't need the PayPal button, just replace it with a normal Submit-Button and add additonal fields if you need them.

Then just disable Joomla's registration and connect your new form through menu, article (via plugin) or module.
